Scientific program

The school intends to cover most of the current research problems of mathematical general relativity. The scientific program of the school will consist of lectures in the mornings by the speakers listed below, which will start by introducing their subjects in a pedagogical way, building their way up towards more advanced topics, and of afternoon study groups on advanced topics or on physical background material. The lecture series are intended to introduce newcomers to the field, whether graduate students or researchers from nearby areas of research. The study sessions are designed to acquaint both the students and the experts with the most recent developments in the analysis of Einstein's equation, and in the relevant areas of the theory of partial differential equations, providing also background information about the current issues in applied branches of general relativity.
